David Moreno joined DeepL in 2020, when the company had only 65 employees. As VP of Engineering, he shares leadership of the department and focuses on the infrastructure of DeepL's technology and business platforms, which enable the AI machine translation services and products critical to the company's growth, as well as voice and API products. David was head of software development at Booking.com and brings over 18 years of experience in startups and fast-growing companies, working in marketplaces, telecommunications, MarTech, etc

Driven by his passion for languages and technology, Ignacio joined DeepL a year ago to head up product marketing. He works with the product team to understand market needs and launch translation solutions that satisfy customers. Ignacio began his career at the United Nations World Tourism Organization, before moving to the technology sector, where he has managed marketing teams at international companies such as Change.org, Elastic and Skyscanner.
